Description Here's my third practice attempt using SAI software, another speed paint... this time tried the water-colour style colouring. Picture concept suggested by wonderful Thank you dear for the lovely idea!!

It was hard to recreate the texture of water colour but I quite like what SAI can do... Need more practice though

I love it!!! I really know I was so vague with this picture, and you did a wonderful idea. I love the mermaid design and the coloration, plus her and the heart shaped sunglasses, an item a mermaid would never have used. You, as always, did a marvelous job, and the complete water color look is a great touch!

Glad you liked it dear I was thinking of using hair brush first like you've suggested but then after some thought I wanted make it summary, like a seasonal greeting card design...hence sunglasses lol (though since normal sunglasses are not cute to draw I made it heart shape like Lolita I wouldn't have thought about drawing this without you giving me an inspiration so thank you!

Great job on the watercolor effect, nicely colored as well. Guess even mermaids have to keep up her looks.

I couldn't quite get the heavy water colour effect I desired but never the less was fun to draw . Yep, mermaid have to keep up their look as well, with whatever the supply they can get hold of lol
