Description
Cherubim are a race of angelic constructs made with four heads of different animals, four wings and four arms a body of bronze and hooves for feet, they are the guardians of light and of the garden of Eden and represent the pure strenght of creation and of life. They are also tasked with carrying the Merkavah: God's chariot and its physical manifestation. In hebrew mysticism they rank eight in the hierarchy of angels and are led by Gabriel, while in christian angelology they are the second highest. they are often confused with Putti, a race of childlike angels of happiness that ranks the same as plain angels. High ranking angels such as Uriel, Azrael and Satan are sometimes said to belong to this hierarchy.
