Description This is a sculpt I did in Zbrush in order to get better at sculpting humans.
I spent only a few days (after work) on it since it was more of a practice sculpt.
But I like it and I learned tons during the process!

Sculpted and rendered in Zbrush with some post in photoshop.

Hope you like!

It's true that sculpting in Zbrush is easy... But sculpting in real clay is easy too...
But it's not because it's easy that it's easy to make something good !!

You have a great eye for proportions and good details !!!

The only critism I have for Zbrush is that it's not optimized for Mac...

Your work is really good !! I go this way leaving a comment on your Buu !

Keep the good work !

Alex

Yeah, but I think ZB will be ready for Mac within a few month along with zbrush 4 (I hope haha)

Thanks again!

I think you can buy ZB on their homepage pixologic.com
I won my copy in a contest so IΒ΄m not sure though
Starting it is easy, just double click the icon! KIDDING haha.
But seriously I think you should try it! I love sculpting!
Just bought the best ZB book ever and got it in the mail today "scott spencer - zbrush character creation".
check it out

This is serious. How did you get the tiny holes in the nose and all those crinkles on his skin!?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

energise In reply to Blervakh [2010-01-16 21:09:19 +0000 UTC]

It was very easy Like I said below, I used only the alphas that comes with ZB and the spraybrush!

happy sculpting

I am just beginning with sculpting. And for now, I am in real, fastdrying clay. Maybe I'll try virtual 3d someday.

Amazing sculpt... love the details...
I'm curious how u did the skin pores...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

energise In reply to fajararts [2010-01-16 21:07:22 +0000 UTC]

Thanks a lot!
For the pores I used alpha 47 I think along with the spraybrush set to a very low density.
Just go over the same area a couple of times with different sizes!

Thats some nice skin work E. Using skin and wrinkle alphas or carving them yourself? I need more practice!!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

energise In reply to DarksealStudios [2010-01-16 21:05:16 +0000 UTC]

Thanks king
I used only standard alphas with the spraybrush to get the fine details! I was amazed how well it worked myself!
Think it was mostly alpha 58 and 47
