Description Taking advantage of having someone somewhat extroverted in my house we had a bit of a short rockstar portrait session. This is one of a few I'll slowly post up.

Basic 2 light set-up. Honl snooted SB-28 for a hair light less one stop and my 580II with my new 20" softbox front on at 1:4 power.

Thanks to my soon-to-be-wife for holding up the background.

i think this portrait would be improved if you were to darken the washed out parts of the right hand, and also darken the shirt a little bit.

hope this helps.

Thanks for your input! I wasn't sure about the hands because on my PC they look fine vs a laptop they were quite washed out.

what you say means that both of your monitors need calibration.
good thing you found out, now you will have to review all your images, after you calibrate those monitors.

hope you don't have 1000 images. lol

Haha no where near that amount. I read that you can't calibrate laptop monitors properly, do you know anything about that?
