I was inspired to do this only after viewing this calm and serene photograph.........here's the link [link]my painting couldn't do justice to it but still tried.....

I love this! Do you use oil or acrylic? I am partial to acrylics when I paint myself just because oils take so much time to dry but this is a lovely landscape I love all the blues, it has a calming effect.

for this one i used acrylics......i am too, partial to acrylics cos they are quick drying! i guess the reason for liking acrylics is pretty universal.

its not bad.. after havin a look at the original.. i'd say that in ur paintin, there seem to be a strong wave heading to splash on the rocks..
its really good.. i like the strokes..

After seeing the original I return back to see how did you translate it to your language. Becasue the original one is so beautifull, I was excited a bit and see that; The photography was a neat one but you add some "feeling" to it..I can feel the warmth of your touches. Thanks for sharing

no matter how hard we try to imitate its gonna end up differently with individual uniqueness...........this painting of mine looks sloppy compared to the serene photograph and I have to accept the fact that this is my style and be happy with the outcome...........you have have been always so appreciative of my work and I wish u wont hesitate to come up with any negative criticisms as I am only here to learn........be well and have a grt wknd!

When we share a submission, we expect the reaction of the total DA community but, especially our friend's critics becomes more important!...We want to get their support or their ideas about our work. Like an artist on the stage after a theatre play....The audienece must clap and show that like it....That's what I am trying to do! I am trying to say I like it in a laud voice and also add why I like it....If thre is something negative to say...Please be sure that I will inform you with a special "note" my dear friend....
