“who goes there!” shouted skipper, alerting bowser to the intruder upon her ship.

a puff of pink feathers, a root stump, was trying to get the lid back on a barrel? “a trespasser! get out of here!”

he made an “eep!” noise as he slipped off and started scampering off.

skipper gave chase but stopped when he made a beeline for the dock. “fivestar, you scallywag, what did you do?”

“something to the water stores,” commented bowser. he gently took the lid off the barrel, squinting for a moment before he realized what he was looking at. little sillee hairs and… a dark mass was floating up to the surface.

“what is it, bowz?”

before bowser could warn her, she reared up to look inside. the first thing she did was retch. “skipper-”

”EUUCH. A DEAD TWILL!”

a silean was clearly floating to the surface, making bowser’s skin crawl. he instinctively began attempting to magically purify it but the mental image was too haunting. “eww… i think we’re gonna have to dump this whole thing out…”

fivestar drops a silean in skipper’s water stores like he planned…

and skipper mixes up sileans and twills because of bowser’s constant confusion when he was a kid. it started as a joke, but it also became a real accidental habit!
