An Inspired Picture. Conor Oberst for people who don't know him is the lead of his band Bright EyesI'm sorry if it doesn't look like him but its the best I could do. The Eyes gave me a hard time. I still think they should be bigger. But Other then the likelyness of the person I think the picture turn out great.
Done in Mechanical pencil and b9. Tools: Stump and rubber

Wow this is pretty cool.
It dosn't look exactly like him because he looks a little more guant but it is how I imagined him to look when I first heard him sing 'at the bottom of everything' his voice dosn't quite match his face anyway....damn he is awsome.

holy crap. i have to say this is my favorite conor pic I've seen so far on here.
to tell you the truth it doesn't look much like him, but it seems to capture his personality well.

The eye on the right (in the viewer's perspective) looks a little odd on full view and it looks like it could use a little bit of touching up around the shadowy area of the neckline of the coat & refining in the lines/shading around the nose, but other than that really nice job. I like how you captured a decent likeness but at the same tile added your own style to the portrait. The emotion conveyed in this piece is really successful as well.

Dont worry about it not looking like him... I can see him in this picture... The texture in his hair is so real... I think connor is really about the eyes... you can really get lost in them... I can any ways... you brought that point across clearly... I am really into it...
Any ways, I have alot of art work if you want to take a look... sorry about the unnecsesarry profanity that may be hooked to any of the artwork... it wasnt my doing... Jack Whites picture was done a month ago... I did not know who he was really until the peice was completed... It shows you how much into this stuff I am.

I feel old, I don't know the band... I love the shading and the textures are awesome. He has kewl eyes, but i guess that's the point isn't it? I think you did a really good job with this : )
