Vaaaaan my precious baby! I've been meaning to finish his profile for so long now omg. The text profile isn't gonna be like my others, because really a lot of the things I could write about are spoilers for The-Untold-Voyages . So I'm just gonna write some basic stuff and factoids about him instead xD

PLEASE NOTE!! I've been getting a lot of questions from people wanting to know if I would be willing to release a blank template so others can use it. To save anyone else from asking, the answer is always going to be "No" (the only exception I could possibly make is for a close friend). I made this design for myself so that my OCs could all have profiles that are unique to me as an artist, and that's important to me. So please, don't ask me if you can use it, don't replicate it, etc. For real I fucking hate having to write this stuff, but damn. Apparently it's necessary.

Van is Mara 's very young father

He's basically estrogen brigade bait. He can't "turn off" his ability, so even if he wanted to (which I'm sure he often does,given the fact that he is actually celibate) he couldn't stop women (and sometimes men) from swooning over him. He's definitely a bit of a flirt by nature, though he never takes advantage of his devil fruit ability in terms of charming the pants off women he's interested in. Instead, he tends to use those perks in order to get information, gain entrance to places normally unavailable to him, or talk his way out of bad situations. Sanji is annoyed by him because he claims Van's power is "wasted on a guy like him."

The hot green bracelet he wears was originally not his; he wears it in remembrance of someone important whom he left behind long ago.

Van is a nomad. He travels all over the place, hitching rides wherever he can to all sorts of places that interest him. He spends a lot of time hiking, climbing, and experiencing the natural wonders the world has to offer. He likes to visit public places as well, but has a deep love for nature and the peaceful solitude that comes with it. He's written all sorts of pieces about the places he has been, and made a name for himself by submitting these works to well-respected magazines.

Some of his favorite places so far have been the mysterious mountainous island of Riskl Mons and the sinking city, Water 7.

He sometimes uses the alias "Elijah Capa" on his pieces (the name is derived from two famous journalists, Elijah Lovejoy and Robert Capa).

He is quite the freeloader! Being that he has no home to call his own, he will worm his way into yours pretty quick. One moment you're talking to him about the weather and how long you've lived here and the next thing you know he's shuffling to your refrigerator at 5am the next morning. He'll eat all your bacon and use up all your hot water, and you won't have the heart to kick him out because damn, he's just so likeable. But fear not, he'll make it up to you in the end, usually about ten times over.

He currently avoids any opportunities to develop romantic relationships. Not only is his past blocking that path, but he also cannot take anyone seriously who expresses interest in him due to the fact that he believes nobody can really love him (how would he know they weren't simply being affected by his power?).

He has a much better temperament than his daughter LOL. However they are so similar physically that people have no trouble guessing that they are related...however, most of the time they guess that Van is Mara's older brother since he is indeed quite young.
