Description I think it is looking pretty okay for my first serious attempt at this style.

Always polite and right to pay attention to the reference photo: [link] By Miss Deathwish stock.

Since I noticed something, I feel the need to make this comment: If you save it, fave it. It is fine to use it as a wallpaper. But it is not okay to make alterations and/or use it in commercial work. Note me if there are questions. Not that I think anybody is going to be interested in doing what I mention above, but if I don't say it, it might happen.

Hรจhรจ, the lovely Demi Moore gave me a compliment on this work on Twitter : [link]

Thanks, it is so much fun to do. Actually really easy once you get the hang of it. At least, the way I do it.

Ugh, do you have a cure for a crying cat... mine whine so much sometimes. Kicking them is not an option .

Both of mine are fixed too. The male one wants to get out and when he's out, he wants to get in. So every hour or so I'm up, letting him in the house and vice versa. It wouldn't be such a big issue, if it weren't for the fact that I keep him on a line outside, but every now and again he gets stuck with the line behind a plant. Usually when it's raining.
The female meows from time to time extremely loud in the morning. Guess it is because she is deaf and can't hear herself.

LOL.. our two are , thankfully, indoor only cats. They never go out. It's especially fun when one of my neighbor's females comes up and sits on the arbor outside my front window..they both get on the shelf by there and "sing" loudly looking at her lol (its kinda cute) lol

At first mine were only inside cats as well. Only were allowed on the balcony of my moms appartment. It was fenced so they couldn't fall. But in our house we have a garden, soooo. Only the first time the male was actually holding onto the door posts, he really did not want to go outside. Lol, how things change.

Porches are cool, we don't have those much here . In the Netherlands these : [link] are more popular. Really don't know what they are called in English.

WE would call that a solarium (sun room)..it's quite similar.. theres a door at the side of my living room that leads to a small room but the walls are screens ..

I thought it would be something like that, but when I looked it up online, it said hot-house. This sounded not quite right.

That's another sort of word for it..but that's more of what you would call a glass greenhouse for growing plants..

Left iris looks a bit flat, and would probably be more "in your face" if you had more vibrant/saturated/brighter colours. Rather than the "real to life" colours you have here. Looks nice though.

Ah, okay. You're right, I have tried to make it more vibrant, but then it looked odd. I can still mess around with color balances and contrasts. I don't know if you've looked at the ref, in the original you don't even see the eye that well. Thanks for your input.
