They are smaller than they appear on tv, this one might be a youngster tho.

Yea Ive seen some on animal planet and they did look smaller than in that meerkat manor thing..

I think Meerkat manor really stays on the ground with them, camera wise, that they seem bigger, perhaps. I don't know.
