I'm trying to pinpoint why this image is so striking to me. Perhaps its the simplicity-- It translated to the thumbnail well on the DA main page. I wasn't disappointed at all when I came in to take a closer look at it. Your applcation of inks is strong and expressive upon closer inspection. The shapes you've used are also great, and the variation in line-quality draws me around it very well.
