My entry for the Miss Universe Pageant contest over at #Heavenly-Princesses .

To look at the designs in detail, I recommend viewing the individual submissions. The width will fit nearly all screens, but is big enough to see them well. I specifically recommend this for the wedding gown and gypsy outfits.

Overall Look: When I chose Kaorinite, I above all wanted a collection of designs that suited her. They needed to be sleek and sexy, and more than a little revealing to show off her ample curves, yet still classy looking. I chose to do this with a darker look--she is evil after all--with dark, rich hues and varied textures.

Headshot - "Braided Beauty"
Drawing inspiration from her usual braided ponytail, Kaorinite sports an intricate updo accented with many tiny braids. The style is matched with jewelry featuring lots of strings and chains as an equivalent of the braids. She completes the look with dark makeup of a rich brown-red, accented by tattoo-like designs in eyeliner.

Swimwear - "Yacht Club"
In typical fasion, Kaorinite sports a swimsuit and accessories idealized for spending the day on an extravagant yacht. Her large breasts and hips, and by contrast, her narrow waist, are enhanced in a halter-and-shorts style of suit. The blue color and patterning evoke images of the ocean, while the color features just enough purple to suggest seductive warmth. The look is tied together with dark straps and square buckles in the suit, jewelry, and wedge sandals.

Theme - "Gypsy Dancer"
This design is all about the movement. Two large, loose skirts are worn, designed to swirl with every turn. A loose fitting top also contributes to this, yet Kaorinite maintains her sexy look partnering the loose clothing with a corset. The more bohemian-gypsy look is enhanced with lots and lots of gathers in the skirts, as well as numerous colors and textures.

Evening - "Black of Night"
What starts as a classic black gown becomes something more when constructed on a diagonal pattern of two shades of black silk charmeuse. Glitter fading to the hem and top evoke images of night and darkness. With its curve-hugging nature and deep cut and high slit, it shows Kaorinite as the dangerous, sexy, powerful woman that she is. A fur wrap and silver jewelry of black gems brings the look to a new level of elegance.

Wedding - "Wine and Roses"
The primary challenge of this design was creating something that was clearly a wedding dress, yet suiting Kaorinite as a character. Somehow, I don't see her working the typical pure white look. Romance therefore became the primary focus of this design, taking the classic bridal look, and turning into something dark and rich. The colors were chosen to represent the contrast of red and white wines, and a rose motif-the flower of romance-was incorporated throughout the ensemble.
