Description
On the way up to Craggy Gardens and the big spots north of Asheville, NC.A good view to take it while on the Parkway, before the roads get serious.
Next time I'm up here, the plan is to hit the good section of the Blue Ridge Parkway in one continuous stretch,
spanning from VA through NC, and possibly continue the whole stretch ending in SC/GA if time/conditions cooperate.
For those who don't know the Parkway is the Gem of the East coast, not only is it an intensely serious drive
consisting of winding mountain roads and incredible runs, it is mind blowing... breathtaking and beautiful as it runs through
the Blue Ridge Mountain range which spans several states and crosses with the Appalachian trail at several points including
it's highest point at Newfound Gap.
