DMC 2 is a horrible game, and no mistake. However, this is the Coolest Dante has looked in the series.

Well, from storywise, yes DMC2 is horrible.
But from the gameplay wise, its far improved from DMC1 and bested all other PS2 Action Games at that time.
In DMC2 Dante could perform all combat style (excl. Royal Guard), without switching mechanic.
He can use gunslinger, sword master, and trickster (the coolest and stylish evasion ever in DMC) all at once. While from DMC3 to 5, the Gameplay introduce switching mechanic for Dante to adapt the battle condition.
For me, its still the Best PS2 Action Games. As far as i remember, there is No PS2 Action Games that can match DMC2 in terms of gameplay mechanics.
Gotta agree this is the coolest Dante, and in this game he could unleashed Shin-Devil Trigger Form with 3 pairs of devil wings, similar to DMC5.
