As always, when it come to poses, you are one of the best, especially action pose .. in my opinion
I like how you manage to make it as an action pose
In other hand when I try that, it turns like a standing rather taking an action
Love Ryu model you choose, his NG III muscles are better than DOA as you said before
The disadvantages in this render, in my opinion, are
1- It is better if you make him using dual sword ( Dragon Sword and Blade of the Archfiend )
That pose is an attacking pose of a dual swards
2- Kunai is not Ryu's .. no one will notice
Finally, The render is
PERFECT

I have to say that once I found XNALARA I found out that posing standing poses was easy and kinda boring lol.
Those kind of poses are great for certain things but I wanted to make the characters look "alive" so since they are mostly action heroes what better pose than an action one.
You on the other hand are amazing at making the characters seem more "alive" in a more every day kind of way. As if they are just going about there day when
someone randomly takes a picture. I wish I could come up with good everyday kind of poses like yours but I guess we all have our strong suits.
Most renders and poses out there are done as if the character was in a photo shoot for a magazine or something, which is fine but why should I try to duplicate
what everyone else does. You know what I mean? What I found is that action poses really rely a lot on head, hip and shoulder positions along with dynamic camera angles.
Speaking of which, is there a way to rotate the camera within 3DSMAX to kind of replicate the effect I did by rotating the finished image in PhotoShop?
Yeah like I said before the DOA Ryu is smoother and more detailed over all but the NG3 version has better muscle definition and so it makes him look stronger.
That's why I requested that model from you so long ago hahaha. I wish I had the NG3 version without the messed up arm but I guess I have to learn how to properly make
mesh mods to do that. I was also wondering if you were ever planning on updating your previous NG3 models with better bone names or if I just have to learn how to do that
as well for those models.
About the drawbacks in this image,
I am fully aware that this is a dual sword pose but I based the image on Team Ninja's new Statue that they are releasing very soon and in that image he has the Dragon Sword,
a Kunai (although not Ayane's lol) and a sheath that's a mixture between the blade of the archfiend and the dragon sword sheath. It's rather strange over all but I pre-ordered my
copy of the statue already lol. It's also weird that he even has the dragon sword considering he is not able to wield that blade while he has the Grip of Murder Curse active in the
game at all.

I do like action poses
Thanks and glad you like my poses
Yeah, you are right about that
Rotating tool (Hotkey=E) then rotate it
I will try to port it (if no one will do as we speak )
and update old models
Oh, your render based on that figure
So is that Kasumi's kunai
Too bad they did not use dual sword
Speaking of that statue, I totally forget about it, note me the site for pre-order
gonna order it RYU
Keep up the good work

It was hard to get a good angle after I made that pose. I just couldn't get something that looked action like so i ended up turning the image to make it good.
