Well, he is real, and by meeting him I've met a whole lot of other interesting people, such as this girl.I do feel like a little stalker sometimes when I draw peoples portraits without them knowing about it first, but it's so much fun when I get to meet people who actually look like the kind of characters I usually draw from my imagination! :3

Wow! That corset piercing is painful to look at, haha, but what a gorgeous girl, and beautiful artwork. A very compelling portrait of femininity and strength.

It gets easier to create new imaginary characters when you fill upp your idea library with real ones!

A good blend of the two is good, I find it particularly easy to pull inspiration from real sources and then build from there.
