Description The title refers to the more realistic approach I tried in this image. I don't like hyper-realistic paintings normally and I definitly don't like doing it, but I wanted to try to paint skintones without that many lines..

It's just a random girl as usual. I could paint hundereds, thousands of girly faces without ever getting sick of it.

I enjoy the skin tones it's the hair that feel a little off here. Still looks good, but it looks like it's outlined darkly, and then the contrast is missing in the actual strands of hair, or that it's not outlined as dark all the way around

Yeah, I think youΒ΄re right about that. It's a quite old pic, but as I recall it I was really enthusiastic about the skin and then I got all lazy with the hair ^_^

Beautiful as always , the only thing I would like to critique on this is her collar bone, it looks very thin and sharp, I think the lower part of the collar bone usually isn't that sharp, if you know what Im trying to say ^^'

Ah yeah, I definitly understand. I usually use lines you know, so I'm used to draw like that. It doesn't really work while painting. It's just a bad habit. ^__^

i really like your style (speaking of whole gallery) and this one doesnt fall behind. I really like how u rendered eyes and lips, few more highlights on her hair would make it even better.

I know you prefer a more stylized approach, but this is gorgeous. Her eyes are so expressive, and I kind of want that haircut now.
