she looks like she belongs on the beach with the sand and seaweed... those eyes are amazing!

She is so gorgeous. I love how her hair seems almost organic.

Thanks! My way of drawing the hair here was made by loosely tracing the pencil wildly around her face, making it look tangled and then I chose what lines I wanted to work on digitally by enforcing them with color. I love drawing hair! ^_^

This is the piece that caught my attention and drew me to your gallery. Upon first glimpsing it, my choice of words were, quite literally: Holy shit.
Quite frankly, this is beautiful. Perchance one day I too will be able to create such beautiful works of art.

I've never studied a any art school but I've taken some life-drawing classes and I'm just a huge consumer of other peoples art. I see something, I try it out and work it into my own style. It's difficult to describe. ^_^;

Thanks! Yup, I'm currently painting all the images that will go into the lockets and then I'll be assembling them and photographing them. If they turn out good I will put them up for sale in my shop ^__^

I love the lighter hair in contrast to her skin. <3 Her expression seems so lost, very much emotion is shown here...Beautiful. Also, I really like the texture you used.
I just think the style of the eyes doesnΒ΄t match the way youΒ΄ve done the rest of the picture, but itΒ΄s intended, so I better keep my mouth shut.

Ah, thank you! You might be right about the eyes. I actually changed them the last second before uploading the picture. They were smaller before.. I just think I need the big eyes for them to come across when the picture is transformed into a necklace since it will be so much smaller.
