Description
She makes a bed out of dried breadcrumbs and the dust on the wooden floor. In a corner she sleeps, lazily. She is the one who gnaws on week old bread, the one who sours milk and within a dreamy haze she walks around, bored with everything, except maybe when a cat passes by. She just can't resist tugging at whiskers with her tiny hands.....
Sure, Brian Froud has his faeries, but I have mine too. I drew loads of them when I was younger, and now I've gotten the urge back.

This is gorgeous, the twisted lines works in such a strange harmony with the smooth and peaceful colours.
I actually love it, it's strange to see though, you work quite similarly to how I do with my university work, perhaps I should upload some!

Haha, she's all twisted and starvation-skinny but I'm sure she sometimes flaunts around feeling slightly sexy too when she's not collecting breadcrumbs or sleeping ^__-
My fairies were more cute/pretty-ish when I was younger, but I made some "dark" ones too, haha. I don't know if I still have those drawings somewhere.

I like the waster, spent look on her. It's unlike the usual graceful image of faeries and gives her a more human (if the word's appropriate) look to her. I love it.
