My Elysian drop trooper i spent nearly a whole day to paint. I believe i did quite a good job :T One down, 30 more to go x.xElysians, Forgeworld, and etc Pertain to Games Workshop

their lasguns are bullpup pattern, battery behind the grip, as opposed to the conventional layout.

Yeah, like this lasgun design than the regular cadian one to be honest.
But i guess their gear is supposed to look more sleek due to that they drop from valkyries into the battlefield instead of land deployment.

Drop troopers - Great models, I downed three valkyries in one turn and killed everyone isnide them with artillery
Veeeery fragile, but can deal heavy blows upfront

I really like what you did with the cloth. Did you wash and drybrush this, or did you do it all by shading? Very nice model, an army of this scale would be intense.

Thanks, i basecoated the entire model with Kemri brown, and the armor with catachan green, then i washed the entire thing with badab black, waited for it to dry and dry brushed the fatigues with kommando khaki, and then a highlight of bleach bone
waaaay more complicated than it sounds, trust me xDDD
I actually have like a decent sized army, 20 elysian troopers, a command squad, a sniper squad, a heavy bolter squad, an elysian drop sentinel, and a regular valkyrie. Im still eyeing the tauros venators and the sky talon :3

Sounds like a ton of work for a rank and file troop. But then again, if you're paying for quality with the Elasyians, you have to paint them well.
I expect more pictures, and more vehicles.

Yeah, well, like i said, i plan on doing commissions, but in order to attract folks to me, i first got to build up reputation by showing off what i can do...that and also im kind of a perfectionist so...xD
Im those kind of folks that like to paint every nook and cranny even if its never going to see the light of day.
And oh yes, you shall, as a matter of fact you should check out my Forgeworld dreadnought drop pod, and my regular SM drop pod.
Ill be updating the FW one soon since i need to tweak the paintjob a bit.

Once you have a large amount of finished stuff, I'd look into hosting your own website, that'll help a lot. And pass out business cards at your LGS.
