project i'm working on...more info to come...when i actually find out of i'm supposed to be putting it up here. but i thought it was kinda useful to put the very FIRST drawings of the characters up here, seeing how they evolve is ALWAYS invaluable and important to me.

i always start off with biro pen, just your normal 'bic' ball point, drives my mum crazy! ha! it's because of the inadvertant lines the pen makes that helps me with the character designs. it always starts out as shapes, then i keep drawing, thinking about the character and his/her personality, sometimes it comes quickly, but sometimes i could be going for several pages before a character takes shape.

there's nothing better in the world when a character stops becoming just shapes and starts becoming a personality!
