So do/did you work with biros for doodles? Because all of your Jak doodles have an amazing, almost scratchy affect, accompanied with the colours 83

this particular peice isn't donw with biro, but pretty much all my concept work is exclusively biro. I find it to be a pretty unforgiving kind of media to work with: you can't shy away from your decisions and it means you have to commit to your lines. Also, sometimes it'll bring an element of the unintended design to it which is quite nice.

I agree! It can be incredibly smooth, or sometimes rugged, which I like X) It certainly adds a beautiful texture to all of your biro works! Finishes them off perfectly

I love how in all of your pictures of Human(elf?) Daxter, you kept the round face that he had in his first(and last) appearance as a human in the first Jak & Daxter game.

The lines are so beautiful. And the shapes are great, and Jak is hot. Meheeeeeeeeee. I love it all, so much, it's all flowwy and wonderful...crap I really wanna draw now, but I'm too tired too!

.... I love you. God, when I found out that Light Jak could do the healing thing, all these "interesting" thoughts came to mind >_> And I always thought, Jak healing Daxter? That would be... well, sexy X3 And god, if you haven't made it so o_o;
*cough* But you know, on a more aesthetically appreciative note 
Then there's the shading.. First off- I like the way Jak and Dax are color separated. Second, I very much like the way the light source seems to be coming from between Jak and Daxter 'cause it really draws your attention nicely. And you can tell there's something significant going on there though there's no clues in the lines. :3 Subtle brilliance.
So yes, I very much enjoy looking at this picture.. So I'm just gonna finish this off by saying "great job" and then I'm gonna go back and stare some more

aww thanks for the hella long xomment hun! you fill me with such love and revitalise the intrest i had in drawing such things in the first place. there's really no reason for Jak's shirt to be off tho apart from the fact that i couldn't be arsed to remember what his complicated top looks like in JakX and....there's nothing wrong with a bit of shirtless Jak and DEFINATELY nothing wrong with a shirtless Dax. mmmmmm and btw hun, Jak's hair is totally inspired by the way you draw his hair! i love it so much!!!

It's so amazing! It looks like Jak's attention is anywhere but that tiny ickle chest he has his monstrous hands on.
And his hair, DELICIOUS!
And you can just see the pain on Dax's face. Love how his hand is grabbing the sheet.

Dax looks like he's in all kinds of pain. Jak's expression looks somewhat inhuman, though--like the light powers sort of shunt his consciousness aside when they're active, or something. Could be the blank eyes.

yeh he actually looks quite cute in this. i don't like to draw his hair, or anyone's hair too short, i can never make it look nice. but yeh 'yummy' is a nice descriptive word for hair i think. thanks hun!
