Latest in the coloring book installment, for the letter "F." Most of you probably know this beastie in some form.I also made a little process video as I sketched this creature! It's a little rough around the edges - I'm still figuring out the software - but it's a start, and for anyone who has been wondering how it looks when I sketch one of these critters, now you can see how it goes. Why not make G for Grootslang, a huge African cryptid that looks like an elephant and a snake fused together!

I've already got G completed (it's on my Patreon), and while I did not choose the Grootslang I am familiar with it. Might eventually make some additional series to cover things I don't use for this particular alphabet.

Im so glad you drew the fudog as a guardian lion, not a canine. :} Personally prefer them as cats as I believe that's what they're supposed to be, despite the misnomer of their name.

Yeah, as far as I understood they were lions that they modeled their dogs after, then everyone started calling the statues dogs. ^_^ I wanted to try to stick with their roots a little more.

Looks fantastic :} If I recall correctly, the term fudog didn't get used until the guardian lions shifted to Japan, so those would be actual canine, but I've always liked the lore behind the guardian lions myself. :}
