Description I was just doing some practice drawings in Clip Studio Paint, and decided to draw this character of mine, named Lothar. Figured I'd throw in some basic ref-sheet info along with the two versions I made for him - his standard starting look, as well as the manifestations. Note that these are subject to change as the campaign story progresses. I just kept it basic with flat-shading and a bit of added gradient in Photoshop for the second pic.

so how is he both cursed and divine? Isn't that a contradiction or am i just looking too much into your Mary Sue?

Cursed by divine/holy forces as opposed to unholy forces. Because gods can be just as spiteful as devils, depending on religion. Like the Greek Pantheon, for instance.

Also, how is this a Mary Sue? As I understand the definition, they're characters (typically gratuitous self-inserts) who are idealized to the point of perfection and are impossibly talented at a wide array of skills. In fanfiction, often intended as romantic interests to the author's favorite canon character(s). While established as attractive (particularly by certain other players in my tabletop group), he does have his own character flaws and notable disadvantages. Admittedly it's easier to see it in action during actual gameplay as opposed to a quick summary that's really only meant to point out key details and provide a bit more of a visual reference for the friends I play with.

EEEEEEEEEEYYYYY Been a while (ever?) since I seen some line art of yours. Love how crisp and clean they are and the line weight is A+

Also, HECK YEAH Clip Studio.

I've been having a lot of fun with the program. It makes line art so much easier! Admittedly that's why I didn't make much of it previously - I found it a little tedious to draw clean lines in Photoshop. But now I can do more! ^_^ Thinking about dabbling in comic pages, if I can find the time.

Oooh I see! Yeah I've heard a lot about Photoshop being infamous for making line art not easy, lol. I'm glad you're having fun with it and stoof. I'd definitely love to see more stuff from it, 'specially comic pages. I'm really interested in seeing what you'd do/come up with. :>
