I love this, Thank you very much Elena. A friend was looking at the original right after I had finished it and gave a similar interpretation. "We do remember land we came from, and remember what we were."... I think rust works on our sense of reminiscence. Many of the symbols are still mysterious to me, but they seemed to belong at the time and I try not to deny randomness access to the process. My friend added that he felt a sense of longing and conquest.
