I thinks you did the lightning and shadowing very good. It's very difficult to draw fire and smokes. Even though the difficulty level, you managed to do it in a very well and realistic way. I also likes the contrast between the warm and cold colors. The colors fits in natural as well. It feels so natural when the flames are warm colors including the light inside the houses, but the sky due night is cold colored. The clouds/fog gives the picture a mysterious and perhaps a bit spooky look. It makes it more thrilling to look at including the full moon.

Most of the details, colors etc at this drawing is good and I can see you're a skilled artist with a lot of experiences. But something that isn't so realistic and bugs me a bit is the facial expression. She looks unnatural calmly, like she wants to be burned alive, something a person probably wouldn't be in real life. Even the brave ones would look a bit scared, upset, sad or angry if they were burned alive in real life. They would also get a more agonising look except if they were killed before they were burned.

Great piece; it's refreshing to see such a detailed piece on such an emotive and... Horrific subject.
A lot of the other... art pieces I see often sexualise the woman about to be burned alive. Your piece here is more spot on to the standards of the time where people burned at the stake wore their under-garments (which covered the whole body) for the sake of modesty since they were often burned in public. I like the emotion in this, the colours, and the faithfulness to the real horror that embodied medieval and renaissance witch trials. 

I find it ironic how we often see witch trials and witch hunts as symbols of the medieval era, when in fact it was only in the 16th and 17th centuries that witch trials and hunts really took off. Before then, witchcraft in itself was condemned, but wasn't illegal; however it could still culminate in being burned alive should the "witch" have supposedly used her magic to commit another crime.
The Malleus Malificarum is one of the most evil books ever written, and even that was only published in 1484.

All in all, I love this piece, it truly captures the horror and anticipation of the suffering this lady is about to endure.

Здесь мне безумно нравится цветовая гамма. Чудесно подобраны тона, они восхитительно передают общую волшебную атмосферу средневековья (приветливый свет в окнах домов, облачная дымка в небе, застилающая луну) в которую умело вплетена ужасная картина инквизиторской бесчеловечности. Очень здорово вышла рука юноши, которая кажется расплывчатой из-за поднимающегося от костра жара. И ведьма - такая гордая, непокорная, не собирающаяся кричать и плакать даже в последние минуты.
