Poor Caiman goes from perfectly calm and collected to panicked and in danger in less than 4 seconds. Those Star Fox guys are jerks.Here's my serious opinion, seriously. If there's another Smash Bros., and if they want to add in more Starfox characters, I think this guy needs to get in before Krystal, since, you know, he was actually in a GOOD Starfox game(and coincidentally he's in one of the best levels with one of the best music tracks in the game. Thank GOD they remixed it for Brawl...TWICE), and he's not responsible for turning a game about aerial combat into a space drama.
They colors are probably off. I never got a solid ref for this. I drew this back in...January, I think, and didn't bother coloring it until yesterday. I didn't feel like getting to Area 6 myself to check the colors, though(I'm lazy you know), so I just relied on my blank memory. I'm starting to think that A should be white...

Area 6 kicks ass, and is one of my favorite levels due to being chock full of enemies to blow up and just being so exciting.

Oh yeah. Area 6 and Venom 1 are the biggest shooting galleries in the game.

Area 6 is a bit better, I think, since the enemies actually let you kill groups of them with charge shots, while Venom 1 is just a chaotic mess of enemies.

The only difference I see is that Venom has physical background elements, whereras Area 6 you can pretty much blow up everything. ^^ Either way, it's fun.

On a side note, Star Fox 64 had some pretty good voice acting, didn't it? Compared to a lot of games these days, I mean. I'd like to guess better than NEWER Star Fox games, anyway. Just the fact that Caiman had a mellow voice when he said "No problems" and it was believable.

Actaully, English voices in any Nintendo game are laughably bad, as they usually hire unknowns or their own staff to do it. Thing is, the cheesy voice acting works for SF64, but ever since Assault, they've been getting decidely more well known VAs for the series, resulting in some pretty huge personality changes(Star Wolf is pretty much the anime Team Rocket in SF64, but later on they're serious rivals...well, Wolf is, at least)...which goes right back to the whole space drama thing.
