A while ago, it had finally dawned on me that a new Smash Bros. was coming. So I doodled a little wishlist that more than likely will never happen, aside from maybe Tetra. Still, it's fun to think about.Related content

Twice. Sorta. Technically Bowser and 'Dorf have kicked the bucket too. And Marth, via the passage of time in Awakening.
In the context of Smash Bros. though I don't think it matters, considering they're all trophies and not the actual characters.

Darmanitan would be a unique and awesome choice - ties in the new gens of Pokemon. But I fear that a mon that strong would be "banned" from competitive play.

It COULD be unique. Or it could have Hammer Arm, Earthquake, Headbutt, and Thrash as special moves, and play like a DK clone...
I don't think any slow, heavy characters, which Darmanitan would inevitably be, would be banned from comp play. Besides, Lucario had Double Team in Brawl, and they never banned him. :3

Tetra is just a different form of Zelda, so chances are she's not gonna make it unless there's a "Toon Zelda" added in, and she's her "Sheik"

Yes, exactly. Though it's more like Tetra isn't Zelda at all and just carries her bloodline and the Triforce of Wisdom. I think it'd be easier to go with Tetra/Toon Zelda because I can't see Skyward Sword Zelda transforming into some sort of Sheik variant.
But who knows? Maybe they'll split Zelda and Sheik into individual characters. Zelda could be, well, Zelda, and they could have the Skyward Sword version of Impa play like Sheik. I think that'd work out fine.

I don't know. It might be possible for Jill to be a Smash Fighter even though she was an Assist Trophy in Brawl. Take Charizard for example. He was a basically an item in the first two games and then became a Smash Fighter in Brawl.

I think that was the idea behind Assist Trophies in the first place; characters they wanted to put in the game but couldn't think up a complete moveset for.
I think the biggest hurdle for Jill though is being relevant and popular enough for them to care to do so. She doesn't really have any of the things some other characters have going for them, like nostalgia factor or being part of a long-running series.

I think Jill should be in Smash Bros.
She had a Awesome game on the GBA and it was a game designed for the GameBoy Player.
I got my Copy of Drill Dozer at Walmart in 2011. It was all the way at the bottom of the Bargain Bin for 5 dollars.
