Ok I know that usually humanizing shuttles I try to keep away from but this time I saw this base and I couldn't resist; I had to do it.

The first ever meeting of Eileen Collins and Space Shuttle Discovery. When Eileen is given a tour of the Kennedy Space Center with several other newbie astronauts, she and the others are introduced to three of the four shuttles, Columbia, Atlantis and Endeavour. However, they are not introduced to Discovery, since Discovery is hostile towards humans and new astronauts only are allowed contact with her when they are more experienced.

However, Eileen is curious about why Discovery shuts the world out, and Discovery reminds herself that she can't trust humans anymore, not after what happened to Challenger...
