So I was feeling overly uh... artistic. During a certain part of the day, an annoying light pierces through my window. I realized... I could do something kinda cool with that! So I slip into my tunic...
I took a lot of shots but only liked a few. It's really hard to look relaxed/sleeping/DEAD, JIM or whatever when you're taking a self portrait. This is one out of 3 shots I chose to upload.One | Two | Three
To comment specifically on this image (I gave the same summary on all 3 shots):
I think the angle on this one is A LOT better, I also like my hand placement better but I'm a nailbiter so I try to keep my nails out of photo's because McCoy has THE PRETTIEST NAILS EVER (I'm gonna upload a better photo than this, because seriously it looks like he has french tips sometimes). IT'S AMUSING.

McCoy cosplay is fun. I must say. Although Spock cosplay would be really fun too. I just look nothing like Spock.
Thanks. I will make an appearance hopefully at Comic-Con 2011 as McCoy. Assuming I don't get all fat or something (that's pretty much impossible, lol). I've also been encouraged to go to a Star Trek convention... but I don't know yet. I might.

i dont look like Spock either, but i do find myself standing similar to his postures every now and then (hey regiment, you are usefull for something!) i dont know, maybe i'll start trying after this summer.
Comic-Con! i've never been to one because it's kind of far away, but there have been rumors that it's out-growing the SD location, and once the contract is up they'll move to the LA or Long Beach centers. if that happens, i'll go

Hmmmm. I guess it was mostly because I was trying to get good photos of his ring, and then I noticed, "HOLY CRAP LOOK AT THOSE NAILS! O////O" And I noticed his long, slender fingers and aside from the leather he calls skin his hands are pretty feminine.

O: I think that you can apply some very light touches of make up that wouldn't be too uncomfortable and yet make you look older. I am sure you'll be perfect as acting and your cosplay too! O: But~ These wrinkles are indeed a trait you can't forget. Just sayin~

Hmm. I definitely know I can work with color to make my eyes look older without make up looking too obvious.
I don't know if I'll "forget" the uh... wrinkles. But I won't "draw" them on... That would only work for stage and I'm not doing stage. I'm not sure how I'm gonna do it.

Out of the three I think this is my favourite but I really like all of them. I was so pleased to see this. Yeah it's a little difficult to make it look natural enough but it's a good start. And you're so right about McCoy's nails haha.

It's true though.
Bones sometimes just stands there and looks angry. Which is all I need to be entertained by him at least, LOL. Also if he's doing nothing but you watch what his face is doing... he is so expressive and it is always completely obvious exactly what Bones is feeling in the moment. It's hilarious because Kelley as an actor never went "idle" even if he was not the focus of a shot. McCoy was always engaged and reacting to the other characters, even if he was just in the background. I freakin' love it.
