 ---- INTRODUCTION ----

I'd like to introduce not only a new PTU species, but a new PTU species PACK consisting of simple little critters that I'm calling Planetesimals! They're small animals - no smaller than a mouse but no bigger than a cat - that all evolved from the same "primordial ooze" that was introduced to a very tightly-packed asteroid belt. There are countless varieties, but this pack specifically covers nine particular types.

WHAT YOU GET IN THIS PACK:

- nine normal line art bases
- nine binary style line art bases
- nine photoshop files with a line art layer, a body color layer, and an eye color layer

Read on for more info:

 ---- HISTORY ----

Planetesimals first evolved from an unknown bioactive slurry that somehow ended up jettisoned into an asteroid belt. Over time, the gunk itself began to coalesce into simple creatures that live in monocultures on individual asteroids. Oftentimes, they'll get knocked off and land on new space rocks, and sometimes they get lucky and manage establish new populations there that eventually evolve into new types of Planetesimal. This happens often enough that there are hundreds of types that have been discovered, and probably thousands more that haven't yet!

 ---- DIET AND LIFESTYLE----

Planetesimals subsist almost exclusively off of water, biofilm, and rocks, along with the micro-nutrients those rocks contain. Despite their relative lack of strength, cosmic radiation and extremes of temperature seem to have very little effect on them.

Lifespan varies, but an individual Planetesimal will usually only live for about three to five Earth years.

 ---- REPRODUCTION ----

Planetesimals are all hermaphroditic and reproduce by prolonged, close skin-to-skin contact. They reproduce by budding off offspring, which at first appear as fleshy bumps that eventually grow to the size of a golf ball, then fall off. New babies (called "pebbles or pebs") are already quite capable of taking care of themselves.

All discovered varieties of Planetesimal can interbreed with one another in captivity.

---- INFO ON THIS PACK'S PLANETESIMALS (top left to bottom right) ----

1 - "Duckie"

Moves using muscular tissue on its abdomen reminiscent of a slug's "foot", but without the slime! Grazes on bare ground at its leisure.

2 - "Sausage"

Prefers to root around in silt for its food. Sometimes puffs the same silt into the air with a strong snort.

3 - "Hose"

Forages by burrowing through loose material like gravel and dust. Very secretive.

4 - "Little Man"

Likes to lick and nibble away at food that's at head-height. Sometimes rakes things just barely out of reach down with its hooked "beak".

5 - "Tricycle"

Scoops away substrate with its shovel-like mouth and sifts out the goodies. Can leap away surprisingly fast if startled.

6 - "Suspicious"

Scavenges for sustenance wherever it can, often looking up in the middle of what it's doing. Will always trot away from strangers with a backwards glance.

7 - "Cat"

Looks somewhat like an Earth cat, but is actually more like an anemone - fairly stationary, stuck to one spot by its bottom. Eats passing dust and paws nearby treats towards itself.

8 - "Double"

Digs through gravel-filled microcaves using its real head and real snout, trailing behind its eerily similar behind. Has a strong taste for clay when it can find it.

9 - "Pantfish"

Often gapes at strangers dumbly but harmlessly. Likes to feed by running full-tilt, digging its face into substrate and eating as it goes.

Such... weirdly bizarre things. Somewhat creepy and very alluring, their random but simple shapes make them feel arty. Sort of makes me think of stuff ones do "Play-Doh" too?

(I admit that I don't quiiiite the rule or cost for these. You buy them all as a batch? What is the cost? o_O )

Yep, you get the bases for all these critters all as a pack for $5.00 OR 500 points, as written!:

The cost is on the purchase button, but I should definitely change the description to make it a bit clearer. Thanks for pointing that out. B)

Honestly I was afraid that people wouldn't buy the base pack if it cost more than $5. xux

Thank you, though! If these sell, I may make more packs in the future with other varieties in them <3

I'll hook you up with an invoice this evening!

Got the files, thank you~

I thought it was 5$/critter to be honest XD
I added in a bit more but I still feel like it's still too little. I figure it's a lot about finding the right buyer as well.
