Thank you for being informative. I was actually wondering if anyone was putting this kind of information out there. I knew that asexual person was not sexually attracted to others, but there as so much I didn't know. I like to be informed and this answered a lot of questions I had.
P.S. I love the picture. And what is in Rage's right hand? I can not figure that out.

Because he is Ace he has different perspectives than most people. He grew up with different teachings. It will be explained later as well.
Just know he has more innocent views on things that Raze does in a few aspects.

In the artist comment explains this:
As for the phrase: "Cake is better than Sex" here´s an explanation for anyone who doesn´t get it:
CAKE:
A lot of aces don't like cake.
It's not really about "cake" itself. It's about "something that it's better than sex".
Somewhere, someone asked: "What is better than sex?". Someone said: "Cake!"
So, why do we keep posting cake?
It's... how do you say it?
A Metaphor

...Wow, jus, wow! I didn't even knw a person could be asexual, or that there were different variations of it. Learning something new everyday. Jus to be clear, thinking somebody's cute but not harvering feelings for anybody, would hat count? This well done though, they have cute little designs and variations of the logo and color scheme! Something else I was unaware of. Brick and Rage would be understandable for this choice, I srsly can't imagine them feeling any sort off attraction to somebody else. At least not ur version of Brick. That little cake motto is so cute, and now I srsly want cake! I srsly luv their hats though. HAPPY ASEXUAL AWARENESS WEEK EVERYBODY!

...WOW, so lost u but u have also managed to blow my mind! I figure being asexual wasn't a choice, sexuality never is.
And i'm not rly sure y I think that about ur Brick, it's nothing against u or ur amazing art, but maybe it's becuz he's connected to Rage or his personality? Hmm, now i'll have to think about this! Or maybe I jus assumed? I'll think about the reason.
But on another note, I can't wait for ur next update! I've thought about asking a question for ur 'questions and answers' comic thing but I don't knw if i'm gonna do it.

I thought being asexual was having no sexual desires and/or no sexual organs.
So in a sense, it is a type of condition/disorder.
(Please correct me if I'm wrong)

It is having "no sexual attraction"
Asexuals don´t necessarily have a lack of interest in sex (although there are many who have no interest in it)
No, it doesn´t mean they have no sexual organs. They have them like any person... just so you know having sexual organs doesn´t mean everyone is sexual or have interest in having sex.
Besides the points I explain in the artist comments about asexuals you can read this:
www.buzzfeed.com/mandyw9/thing…
And also:
10 things you should know about asexuality:
1) Asexuality is defined as a lack of sexual attraction; an asexual is someone who is not sexually attracted to anyone.
2) Asexuals can be romantically attracted to other people, for example, a homoromantic asexual is someone who is not sexually attracted to anyone, but is romantically attracted to the same sex/gender.´
3) There are also aromantic asexuals, who are not sexually or romantically attracted to anyone.
4) Asexuality is a sexual orientation (like homosexuality, bisexuality, heterosexuality, etc). Asexuality is NOT celibacy (a decision to refrain from sexual contact), a mental disorder, or chemical and/or hormonal imbalance.
5) Asexuals are not afraid of intimacy. Many asexuals want and are in relationships, with not only other asexuals, but sexual people as well.
6) Current statistics suggests that about 1% of the population is asexual, though many experts think that the number may be higher.
7) There are asexuals who masturbate and enjoy sexually intimacy with others, while not being sexually attracted to anyone. Every asexual, just like every sexual person, is different and all fall on a wide range of wants and comfort level.
8) Sadly, there are asexuals who feel out of place and broken, due to the lack of general kowledge concerning asexuality and cultural portrayals of sex and sexuality.
9) Confused? Don´t worry; asexuality can be just as odd to a sexual person as sexuality can be to an asexual. As long as you are considerate and open minded, questions are more than welcome.
10) Have questions? Check out asexuality.org (AVEN- Asexual Visibility and Education Network). It also has a forum, tons of links to blogs, community sites, etc. about and for asexuals. You could also of course google "asexuality" (not asexual reproduction, it is unrelated).
Hope this has helped n_n

Very interesting. I knew about the lack of sexual attraction but i did not know a lot of what was written here. However, Asexual can in fact also be the lack of sexual organs. As you yourself said, there are many types of asexuals and that IS in fact one of them.
Like when you neuter a dog, the dog's sexual drive declines dramatically.
Some asexuals are born with a lack of sexual organs.
But I do know that having sexual organs doesn't automatically mean you have any interest in sex or are even attracted to anyone.
Just like not having them doesn't mean you don't.

Enthriex In reply to Kimarys3 [2014-10-31 17:39:29 +0000 UTC]
1- There´s no such thing as being born without sexual organs, there are disorders that may seem like "being born without sexual organs" but those are extremely rare, so you saying 'Some asexuals are born with a lack of sexual organs' is plain wrong.
2- An heterosexual person can have their genitals removed later in life and that doesn´t make them non-hetero. So stating that having no sexual organs is a 'type of asexual' is wrong as well. Any person can have surgeries and doesn´t determine their sexual orientation.
3- "Like when you neuter a dog, the dog's sexual drive declines dramatically." this statement you made has nothing to do with "Some asexuals are born with a lack of sexual organs" and because of what you wrote here it contradicts what you said afterwards of "But I do know that having sexual organs doesn't automatically mean you have any interest in sex or are even attracted to anyone. Just like not having them doesn't mean you don't."
4-
Attraction: In this context, it refers to a mental or emotional force that draws people together. Asexuals do not experience sexual attraction, but some feel other types of attraction.
Aesthetic attraction: Attraction to someones appearance, without it being romantic or sexual.
Romantic attraction: Desire of being romantically involved with another person.
Sensual attraction: Desire to have physical non-sexual contact with someone else, like affectionate touching.
Sexual attraction: Desire to have sexual contact with someone else, to share our sexuality with them.
5- Being Asexual is the same as Heterosexual, both are sexual orientations.
- Asexual: Someone who does not experience sexual attraction.
- Heterosexual: Someone who experiences sexual attraction towards gender(s) other than their own.
8- What I said in my previos reply of "Every asexual, just like every sexual person, is different and all fall on a wide range of wants and comfort level." doesn´t mean anything physical, it just means different taste. Just like one ace can be romantic another ace won´t be romantic, just like a person feels comfortable with something, there´s another that will find it uncomfortable. Just like people can be extroverts others are introverts. That´s all I mean with different kinds of asexuals. Everyone has different things they like and dislike.
7- That´s all there is to it. No physical anything has to do with anyone´s sexual orientation.
Also, about "born with a lack of sexual organs" someone asked if it was possible "Hello, after doing some research online i couldn't find the answer to my question. That question is, What is a person called that is born with neither male or female reproductive organs?" and he got this reply:The reason you have been unable to find a word to describe the condition you ask about is because it is unlikely to exist in humans. Embryologically and developmentally the default position is to develop female reproductive organs and secondary sexual characteristics. A normal functional Y-chromosome then changes that to the male phenotype. Loss of function mutations in the genes that code for the male sex organs usually result in a female-like appearance and in some cases, development of a rudimentary vagina and uterus but not ovaries. Even conditions which result in a missing X-chromosome (Turner's syndrome) still have the female habitus though with rudimentary or absent sex organs. Thus the idea that a "normal" human could be born but with no sexual organs and no secondary sexcula characteristics does not occur (or at least I am unaware of such a condition and have been unable to find such a description in the literature). Genetic mutations or chromosomal changes that really induced what you describe would almost certainly cause numerous other changes in many organs in the body that would be embryonically lethal so such an embryo would be most unlikley to be born alive or survive past birth.
In contrast to the above the opposite ie mixed sexual characteristics or ambiguous genitalia is called hermaphroditism

You seem to be implying dogs decline in libido has anything to do with asexuality which it doesn´t. Also here´s some info about dogs which you may find helpful:
Well, for those of you who are afraid to neuter your pet because you’re sad he’ll never have a chance to mate, you can nix that excuse off your list. The take home message here is that your neutered dog can still have sex. If he wants. Most likely he won’t want to. With the lower testosterone levels he won’t have a huge libido.
But neutering and the resultant low testosterone doesn’t remove all sexual behaviors. That’s because the circulating testosterone in young puppies causes changes that permanently masculinize the brain. These changes lead to increased urination on vertical surfaces, increased exploring of the environment, and clearly in some cases increased mounting and even mating of dogs who are in heat.

sometimes i hate typing because it makes it hard to understand what a person is trying to say or their tone.
Let me try to explain what i mean better:
(I have a hard time expressing myself so sorry if i am annoying or confusing)
1. I dont claim to KNOW anything and I'm trying to ask questions and give examples of what im asking
2. If there are homo asexuals doesnt that mean there are heteroasexuals? Or am i totally stupid and just not getting it? Because i know asexuals dont feel sexual attraction but even still they sometimes lean one way right?
3. What i meant about the dog reference was that both dogs and people can have their sexual parts removed so i was asking if it was similar to that. Also, Thank you for explaining that people cant be born without them. Because a long time ago i researched the word asexual and on dictionary.com it says being born without sexual organs as one of the definitions.
False information is probably what has been confusing me.
Thank you for explaining this so fully to me, i understand it much better now.

1. I know that you are asking questions because you are confused, I was just explaining some points. Though you must admit saying "it IS a fact" something used to claim something with certainty though. But I understand you are confused, that´s clear to me.
2. Yes, there are homo asexuals which would be Homoromantic Asexuals and in case of Heteros that would be Hetero-romantic Asexuals.
Homoromantic is being attracted romantically to your own gender and Hetero-romantic being attracted romantically to the opposite gender.
Yes, asexuals lean to different kinds of romantic attractions which can be either homo, hetero, bi, pan, demi, gray and the like.
There´s also "Aromantic Asexuals" which really don´t lean either way.
3. Yes, indeed the dog part confused me but yeah it´s not like that haha and wow it surprises me you found such definition o_o
Sure you are welcome, indeed there´s many who don´t understand the term and use it lightly to explain things so it is understandable that there´s wrong information out there.
