Description
So, in the New Mutants' family, I'd like the complete make-over!

That's right, I've completely 'recast' Doug Ramsay, because, when your power is to be able to decypher any language, it basically doesn't matter what you look like, and Doug's look in canon was bland as hell. I also wanted a bit more diversity in my characters.
Also, I've boosted a bit of his abilities, and made him not only a living rosetta stone, but also a super genius.

So, in my continuity, Doug is the bright science nerd that makes his home in the labs and the school, and begins working on the various Nobel prizes he's probably going to get, along the years. He doesn't step out on the field often, unless they need a hacker. Because, let's be honest, he would be a sitting duck, out there. So, yeah, he's the New Mutants' 'guy in a chair', but he's still a very important part of the heart of the team.

Done on paper, then Photoshop CS3 and Painter 12.
