Taken on my latest trip to Tahoe, I wanted to make a similar image to my 'What Lies Beneath - Bonsai Rock' but under different conditions. The water level was lower, and the rock had some snow for added bonus, even though the composition is pretty similar, the mood of the image is quite different. I hope you like it.Related content

Great Image the colour is amazing. Where in Lake Tahoe is Bonzai Rock I wouold like to shoot it the next time I'm there?
By the way have you seen any of Elizabeth Carmel's work she live sin the Lake Tahoe area and shoots with a digital Hasselblad.

The rock formation is in the northeastern shoreline of Lake Tahoe. From Incline Village, head south on Hwy 28. Once you pass Sand Harbor, keep going maybe 3/4 mile, and park on the top of the first hill on the dirt side. You will need to climb down, and bonsai rock formation is located around there.
I have seen Elizabeth Carmel's work... EXCELLENT... I love it, and she took one from this location, which is spectacular.

Sand Harbor now that's another amazing location in Lake Tahoe unfortunately I accidently deleted my photos from that shoot. I can't believe bonsai rock is right near there.
It was Elizabeth's picture of bonsai rock that I thought of when I mentioned you should see her work. I think that was the image I first saw of hers just amazing.

This is nice, the water looks clearer than the older one. You've used 3 sec exposure in this one, what was it in the older one?
