Halloween is such an interesting holiday. Filled with vampires, ghouls, witches and all sorts of deeply magical beings. I really do love Halloween! (fangirlish love ) sort of but I am quite an interesting Witch myself and I conjure my very own spirits with my beautiful energies xxxxxxx

There's just something very striking about this, it does echo the internally complex characters of your previous artworks (fav.me/d4h3gi4 and fav.me/d4sbv97 come to mind) yet the Samhain witch has a haunting sense of familiarity about her within a more originally approached style. Also good choice in keeping the pumpkins untouched & plain, jack-o-lantern cliches always kill atmosphere and should be done with.
Her outfit is more straightforward with nary an elegant pattern or motifs to be seen, just thick ebony fabric implying warmth against the cold night. While this may be quite disappointing given your other works' intricate tendencies, I think otherwise and it fits her personality & setting not to mention the full concealing nature only adds to the mystery of who she is. (Still nice in having the sleeves being inter-tied, who knows if she has more expressive Gothic dresses for other situations? XD) This also helps set a delibrate contrast in texture, with the thick black cotton fabrics swallowing light whileaccentuating the skin-tone of her face having a luminously highlighted sheen to it. It's pure concentrated vitality, simply put. Also her expression is very focused and direct, hinting a myriad of emotions which can be contempt, loneliness, tragic... it's not merely singular "angst" and her glare is close to authentic emotion if nothing else. The fact that she has bloody tears slightly blended into smudged eyeshadow & jewel-like gorgeous eyes only makes this piece all the more hypnotic.
I really hope that we can see more of this character in the future, the spirit put into this piece is wholly felt and potential for a developing OC in vein like the Ringmaster ( fav.me/d5esjl7 , fav.me/d6lqhb0). She would be such a waste if she was only for this specific Samhain artwork.

wow tihs looks very similar to the style of posters i used to see with vampires on them in the late 90s and early 2000s when i'd walk by hot topic or spencers when i was hanging out with friends at the mall.
