You're welcome! In a way, you're teaching me how to use colours. By looking at your art, I get ideas about how to match different colours to get the result that I want^^Β 

I would like to ask you how do you get that smooth surface even though you're using colored pencils. When I try, i can see all the surface of the paper, it doesn't really look good.. :/

You maybe need to work with other brand of colors, I use Faber-Castell, and make sure to work in a clean paper, which is not affected by the graphite. ^-^

I use Giotto colored pencils but i'll try other brand for sure!Β 

And I always make sure the area I work has no more graphite on ^^


How about the paper? Does it matter if it's smooth or not?

AGH MORE SHINY THINGS! Love it. The way you do these paintings (drawings?) is great. They have a certain sleek realism to them. I love the highlights on the face and the silken shirt (just that I can tell it's silk is brilliant) It also seems to have a lot of story in it, judging by your description. Great work
