I love rooks so much! they seem to follow me wherever I lay my feet; and there's dozens of them crowded round my house 90% of the time. very intelligent birds. : )

I was going to jokingly ask if you were from Ireland, but it turns out you are! I've had very similar experiences with rooks. They're everywhere in this country.

haha! yeah, seems like their ubiquity is a uniquely irish thing. my father kept one as a pet when he was a teenager, so I sort of took that as an incentive to try and save every injured rook I found. came to the conclusion that they're finicky wee buggers, and very specific about the type of food I fed them. I figured out that they enjoy dogfood, which I suppose offered some explanation as to why they've always tortured our mutt out back!
