This is my entry to the Barbie Movie Contest of M-Mannering ! I hope it gets accepted though the story is still a bit of a rough draft... I'd need more time than a week to form out the story, but I've put much work into this picture.

So, Barbie is Ivanka Sergeyevna Romanova, a Russian Princess. When a group of Sibirian commoners starts a revolt against the Tsar and his family, another nobleman takes the chance to scheme against the Tsar to get the throne himself. To make sure the Tsar's children survive, they are separated and brought into safety at different places.
Ivanka finds herself in a Sibirian fisher village where she is greeted by the tough Tatar girl with the words: "Come over here, newbie, help me gut the fish!" The Tatar girl is Chulpan (means: the morning star), and the two of them have their problems with each other... Not only is Ivanka quite the princess girl, Chulpan herself has also participated in the revolt because she and her fellows don't want to accept the Tsar's reign over them anymore. But to get along with the threatening tyrant, they both have to learn to understand each other. Ivanka gets to know the hard life of her Sibirian subjects, and Chulpan must learn that there are sometimes necessities above the own wishes that even rulers have to follow.

Since this is meant to be the plot for a children's movie, it does not claim any historical accurateness. My apologies to Russia and Siberian tribes.
