a very silky rose I must admit that roses are not my favourite flower, but sometimes the tenderness of their petals strikes me

Thank you. Yes, this kind had very fragile petals. I like the shapes that roses make though, and the rich variety of colors.

At the International Rose Test Gardens, in Portland, Oregon. They have a remarkable variety of roses there, and the smells... *sighs happily, remembering*

Well, yes, and the rose hips are a good source of vitamin C, but some of them look like they are already candied.

Thank you! Yes, they do exist, but this breed, while lovely, and having a heavenly scent, are very fragile and bruise easily, so you won't usually find them in flower shops. This was taken of a rose still on the bush. If you like roses, and are ever in the vicinity of Portland, Oregon, be sure to stop by the International Rose Test Gardens (free) for a real treat to the senses.
