Description Tried something new yesterday. The idea came out of the blue (as does the light on this picture), and it took a while until we (3 guys: two "light-painters" and one "model") figured out a way to make it look good.

I'm both photographer and light-sculptor/painter on this picture. A buddy made the outline of the lower trainwagon whilst I traced ~00042 with a flashlight.

It sure was a fun evening, and lots of thanks goes to my "helpers".

Yeah, you should try it sometime. Pretty easy, just need a tripod and a flashlight.

Indeed I did. Long exposure plus pointing the torch at the lens all the time while "painting", that's how it's done.
