very nice, you say it's just a little fun illustration, but it looks like it took a lot of work! Unless you had some cool shortcuts... perhaps you could share your secrets with us in a tutorial?

It was a fun illustration but as you say it took a lot of work and time. About 18 hours spread over 4 or 5 days I think. Perhaps I'll do a tutorial for my next piece.

This is interesting - from distance everyone will see a tiger, but up close - it's an ultra unusual tiger! My eyes just start "swimming" looking at all those details.

Well, I have a policy of commenting on works which I fave.
It would be quite puzzling if no-one have noticed all that overhelming amount of details. Though, just noticed - is the piece in the place between eyes, where striped and non-striped squares are, on purpose left white or was just been forgotten?

Yes intentional. I didn't want to overwhelm the centre of the piece because its already really crowded. A little white space helps so that when people view it zoomed out it doesn't just look like a black blobby mess.
