Description A map of JRR Tolkien's Middle Earth. I used a map by Christopher Tolkien as a base and made a map in the style of [link] . I've been working on this for a long time, and are pretty happy with the result.

As base for the trees and towns I used icons by Ramah [link] the colouring is my own.

I like this. It looks good, and it's easier to read than a lot of other Middle Earth maps I've seen in other instances. How did you determine the scale: I especially like the fact you include one.

Thanks . The scale was taken from the original map by Tolkien which I used as a reference.

I noticed the same thing when making it. And how many mountains there are, as they were a pain to make .

hehe, ya, I can't even make mountains the way they're made there. Maybe the land lacks forests cause there aren't many in Britain, or maybe they were pain for him to draw (if he drew that original map)
