Just some really quick fun with my new intuos3, I just love it! The on board shortcuts are such an amazing time saver, and the overall feel is just an awesome improvement over my old intuos2 it almost feels like paper, loving it! : DRelated content

two question. one, do they last a long time and keep up sensitivity?
Two, is it easy to do detail.

Question 1) Sensitivity is rock solid and does NOT change during it's lifespan: you will get the same sensitivity for as long as the tablet works. And they last for a long time, my old one, an intuos2 worked for over 8 years despite being treated really really badly with no care at all...
Question 2) If you work on images big enough, doing details is no problem at all ---> you simply zoom in and work on details then zoom out.

If you buy a tablet you absolutely must buy a wacom, anything else is trash. I recommend an intuos3 or a bamboo if you're right on budget : )

Absolutely!!! It feels awesome to finally no longer "drawing on glass" as you say ^^' Gives you much more control
