Beautiful as always. It was about time europeans learnt how much we helped back then. How brave we are. Let me remind you that...

How forgotten our contribution in this war has been...

Yeah that´s true as revange against Greece the Germans use a very brutal system and war againt woman, children and old people.  But one is interesting ...quote "And then there was a forced loan of 500 million Reichsmarks, a Greek collaboration Government had granted the Nazi occupiers - the repayment of which was, however, the German side agreed to in writing, a promise remained unfulfilled until today, not to mention reparations altogether.

As a payment could be avoided by a German ambassador in Athens had circumscribed so again: We need to the Greek side only "ad calendas graecas put off", "feed the demands of our former enemies with timing of a forfeiture or lapse of time" with the target. Something ad calendas to postpone graecas, which meant with the Romans known as much as "defer until the cows come home about". And so it might well those classically educated German diplomat have felt to be extremely witty joke when he brought the dictum calculated in this rather delicate context of post-war German-Greek relations with the application. "

Because of this song, now I know how brave Greeks were. Don't mess with Greece, he is like sleeping Leonidas.
It's great picture with perfect atmosphere. When Greeks forced Italians back to Italy, Nazi Germany had to help them and they took some of their forces, which going to Russia to Moscow, to Greece. It must helped Soviets a lot. It's a shame, that lots of people don't know the bravery of Greece.

Yeah, your country really helped. I read something about Greeko-Italian war. It's so badass.
It's a metal, which lots of people don't like, but they are singing about history (mostly WW2). You can easily mix it with Hetalia. I love Sabaton. :3
Well, your gallery is awesome, it would be shame, if I didn't fave it.

True XD I have made a video about the Greeko-Italian war with Hetalia

For me the fact it's metal makes it even better!!!!! I knew they had made the song 40 to 1 about Poland, but I didn't know they had made for Geece too!
Thank you! I am really glad you like my pictures!

The song it might sound weird to you because it's Greek and old. Think that it was made during the Greek-Italian war about the Greek-Italian war. And I have to say that Greeks were kinda feeling pitty of Italians back then and still XD

I know right???!!!! METAL IS THE BEST!

Brambora121 In reply to EPH-SAN1634 [2015-01-07 15:10:00 +0000 UTC]

That song is somehow... odd, but not bad. (I am just not accustomed to Greek - it's unique language.) And I like it. Youtube and Hetalia need more serious stuff about Greece. Because he has great history. (No matter to what's happening now.)
Really? It's interesting, I mean: You don't feel some... hatred in Greece to Italy? (Only in history, not in usual life situations). Because we, in Czech Republic, are sometimes really angry to Britain and France. (Munich Agreement. Damn you, Daladier and Chamberlain, we were strong and you know it! - sorry off topic.
I would expect that you will be angry to them. Because of Rome and Fasict Italy and that stuff.
And can I have a question? What Greeks think about Turkey? I heard some stereotypes (not only in Hetalia). Do you hate/don't like them?

Yeah!

Yeah, it sounds odd even to me which am raised with it ^^"
I agree on that, so I have made many videos with Greek songs and Hetalia.
This one for example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Npt_Y6…
and translation
lyricstranslate.com/en/tha-bor…
Our current politcs make us look like imbeciles in the whole Europe -_-*
About taly, we don't hate them. It's surprising that even though we celebrate so warmly the 28th of Octomber, we hold no grudge to Italians. As a matter of fact, we like them a lot.
(Yeah, you have good reasons to feel angry...)
I guess, as now Greeks are under the worst politicians and make fool of them selves, that happened to Italians as well back then.
We don't judge...(the ones we actually hate are Turkeys, Bulgarians and Scopians which claim our Macedonia usurping the name of Macedonia.)

If you like Metalica's "Of wolf and man" you'll like this video of mine too

This song is good and AMV also.
It must bother you. I am sorry for that. :/
That's really nice from you. It's good that you have good relations with them.
(It was also our fault, that we let it happen too far... but it was still really big betrayal.)
Every country has stupid politicians, some more, some less. It can't be that bad, no? (But I haven't got enough informations, so I am not sure. )
Even Bulgarians want Macedonia? They have some historical rights? I don't know that, I will make some research. But Macedonia was Greek in the past. I always thought that.
Yeah, Metallica is good. I don't know the second song, but that first great. :3 And that AMV too.

Sorry for my late answer, I've been away from my notebook. And sorry for my english, it's getting worse and worse.

(I know...)
My country has the worst, I asure you. The thing with Greece is that we never attacked to the other countries, but we always keep fight ing with eachother instead of defending our rights.

Especially Bulgarians -_-* These b------(I will hold my self) We were the Macedonic fights and Balcanian wars about it. And Now Fyrom has the name because of a misunderstanding....None of them has rights. Historically we are safe but that doesn't stop them of claiming the land.

Thanks
Dream Evil is an Epic Metal Band, it's not as famous as Metalicca, but they are good

You are welcome.

Well, maybe you need someone like Alexander the Great, to reunite you again. They taught us in school, that it was because Ancient Greece was divided to small polis. It's still like that or you have in… genes? Let's hope that crisis will be good to… improve relations in your country? Is it possible or am I just too naive?
Fuu... some countries are just... (I don't want to judge and be mean.)
You have your rights to have Macedonia. I  think that the land is yours, because it was in Ancient Greece and it actually stayed like that... but we should also take into account what citiziens want. (But I am not familiar with the situation on Balcan, so if I am saying stupid things, just ignore me.  )
Oh, sorry I didn't know that. I've started to listen metal recently I still need to discover some bands. I like Nightwish and Eluviete, they are pretty good.

I am always not sure, If I am writting it good. I need to check it on translate and I sometimes think, that I just wrote really simple and childish answers. But thank you.

Maybe we do. Yeah, it's true. His father had fights with the rest of the Greeks, so he can be the one leader, but Alexander united us. Under his power of course.
Crisis on;y gets worse because of the relations of the politics. Inside the country we only have silly snobbing ideas about the other parts of the country, but nothins serious or anything.

I know! There are proves about that! But that doesn't profite the others, does it?
(No you are right)

It's ok, as I said, they are not THAT famous ^^
I love Nightwish too! But more during Tarija's era. Some that are not that famous but they are great are the "We are the fallen". They are alike Evanescence pretty much

Con't worry. I am crappy in dictation, so I worry all the time about it too XD I know that feeling

Yeah, He scared the ancient Greeks with burning Thebes and he was very strict (maybe cruel?). Maybe you will find more peaceful leader? Let's hope.
We know this as well, but you probably have it worse in this crisis. Politicians and their games...  It would be good to slap them sometimes. Just to wake up. But that situation is complicated, I guess.
It must be really chaotic on Balcan. Especially after Jugoslavian Wars and with so much arguments about land...
Politics is sometimes stupid. Maybe the Bulgarians will be less stubborn in future. (Unrealizable wish?)

I know, she has such beautiful voice.
Evanescence is also good.

I am glad that there is somebody, who feel it like me.
Thank you so much.

Only the people that brainwashed their people are the main causes. Most German children would tell on their own parents if they resisted from the Nazis thanks to the Hitler Youth program.
I feel sorry for Greece's position today.

I also wish that the Hetalia fandom would acknowledge Greece for the country that he's representing and not for the guy sleeps everywhere, while surrounded by cats or Greece x Japan or Turkey x Greece (I hate the pairing).
I don't hate Turkey (the country or the character), since I've grew up not caring what people were and treated them equally, but I definitely hate Turkey x Greece

EPH-SAN1634 In reply to HoneyBeeGirl94 [2014-12-11 22:07:37 +0000 UTC]

I know this whole thing, thanks to Brecht.
Ah, thanks...honestly speaking, things would be better if Germany would payed us the dephths from WW2 damage and massacries...but they sadly only demand money from us...

There is a big misunderstanding on that. Ok, in Greece we have naps as Italy and Spain's siesta. But that's because the sun here is burning and exhaust us. We might be the top country that spends the night awake. We even have an area that everyone works at night and sleep the day (Ikarya). About Greece and Japan it's pretty fine, we really like eachother, but Turkey and Greece pairing is UNEXCEPTABLE X( They still dare to invade out airspace and seas and we also had victims!
I hate Turkey. Not in a racist way, but in the way "I don't like my next door neighboor that tries to steal parts of my house". The famous "Turkey" in Europe that everyone knows is actually the old Greek part that includes the capital of Byzantioum, Konstantinoupoles, now Instambul -_-* (the original Turkey is in Asia and is a military-muslim Taliban like place)
Konstantinoupoles is a clearly Greek name Κωνσταντίνου Πολις (Konstantinos's City)
So yea, I 1000000% support your hate of this pairing

Agreed. My country America never really was a saint like country either. Almost in any war Americans were in would do cruel things to their enemies. I heard that a America solider sent sent his wife the skull of a Japanese man that he killed as a gift. O.o
What's more terrifying about most invasions is that the soliders will rape and kill innocent civilians. When they end being ignored, most of the women gave birth to their rapist's children and they end up having no clue or suffer from the horrifying truth about their origin. I've seen a article about a Japanese Chinese man caring for his dying mother, whom was a formal comfort woman. He wishes that he was never born, because no one accepted him, because of his horrifying origin.
