May 2015 - May Day/Chocolate Truffles Day (May 1st + 2nd) - for the GrimmUlqui 2014-15 calendar ! * ^ *This took forever and I went from really happy with it to sorely disappointed Either ur creation dies young or lives long enough to become a monster.
experimenting with colors bc it's rly my weakest point; could i get any crit/feedback on it? ; v ; pls?

It's so friggin pretty omg! O.O You always draw Grimm's sneer so awesomely and Ulqui's smoldering glare of death. The chocolates look delicious too! Loved your December one as well, so much emotion in their faces. The way they hold each other but look so cold and angry gives me the idea that if they had it their way, they wouldn't be near each other, but they are drawn to each other none the less. In short, awesome artwork, you're style has changed a great deal and it really shows in wonderful ways. :3
But we artists (pfff not meaning me) can be our own worst critic.

I've no idea what is it that you're sorely disappointed about, because I see a very beautifully drawn and coloured work that kind of makes me fall in love with GrimmUlqui all over again, and the colours makes me all kinda warm inside too, the background especially reminds me of a beautiful dawn sky -the multiple coloured 'ribbons' were a nice contrasting touch- and I like that you use a messy outline of flowers as a flower crown instead of an actual flower, for some reason

for some reason it looked overpowering when i did it tho so just went with lines ; 7 ; like barbed wire. manly.
