I would do anything to see Simon and Luigi team up. It'd be so cool to see how they interact. Like imagine Luigi screaming at the smallest things...
...But Simon just walks by and makes Luigi admire him like "wow."
Then he sees Simon start screaming ferociously as he whips the demons to death.
Then Luigi's just like:
...ok...*tries to silently vacuum ghost rats*
They'd be great pals. Change my mind. You can't.
