I have lots of friends from America and all of them are wonderful people, I have friends in Mexico, Chilli, Spain, Malta, South Africa, etc.
All are equally as nice.
Putting a stereotype of people is going to be the reason why you haven't met someone who's American and nice before; your judging them before you get to know them so they do the same to you.
