"Occupation will always justify its existence and defend its presence in the usurped lands, always distorting the facts and always having a justification for the massacres it commits. In the latest war carried out by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip, over 35,000 unarmed civilians were killed, most of them women and children. The number of fatalities in this war exceeds the number of those killed in all wars worldwide since 2022. All these victims fell in just six months. This does not include those missing or those who are under the rubble and cannot be extracted by rescue teams. Also, this number does not include those who were deliberately executed by the Israeli occupation forces and buried in mass graves to conceal their crime. However, recently, dozens of mass graves containing hundreds of unarmed Palestinian civilians in Gaza have been discovered. There are also those who have vanished from existence, meaning there are no bodies to bury because their bodies simply evaporated at the site of the Israeli missile explosions on civilians in Gaza. If someone asks you about October 7th, ask them what about before October 7th? For over 75 years, Palestinians have faced genocide in full view of the world, and the world remains motionless. Your duty as a human and your humanity obligate you to defend what is right, and this is what my humanity has compelled me to create this art piece in support of Palestine, and this is the least I can offer."
