We are still in cameo-land here. The only reason this is a standalone entry is because the next two entries are specials rather than cameos, so they need their own day and as such, The Vanquishers got its own day here. Anyway, enough explaining, here's a Cyberman for you loyal and non-loyal fans!
A lot of these cameos have used already-existing March Cybermen, haven't they? Well this one doesn't... kinda! You remember "Magnet Cyberman" from my "Once, Upon Time" entry? Well this is one of those, but not THAT ONE! He's busy cyberising any non-Fluxxed planets. This one however, joined the invitation of an alliance by the Sontarans! An alliance that didn't exist! The Flux approached, destroying Dalek, Cyberman and Sontaran alike. However, today's Cybermen in a non-panic activated a magnetic shield which, shouldn't have protected him, but the stream of Flux approaching him had consumed so much matter, that the magnet shield reflected the Flux! The Cyberman watched the TARDIS fly past and concluded that it must have been the Doctor that did this! He activated his Cybercarrier's engines and chased after the TARDIS!
And that was the last cameo of the Cybermen for this month! Onto the last two specials. Join us tomorrow when we dive back into the world of Big Finish to explore one of my favourite of their distributions! The audio series "Cyberman"! Stay safe until then.
