Lon Chaney Sr. as Professor Edward C. Burke, from one of the most famous "lost" horror films of all time, Tod Browning's London After Midnight.
The final remaining print of this 1927 film believed to be in existence was supposedly destroyed in an MGM film vault fire nearly 50 years ago. Unless some forgotten copy is maybe discovered in a basement somewhere, we may never see the full original movie. Quite a shame.
